THE VIBE: OK so maybe you’re not heading to vacation with the Royal Family, but any day in London is a good day—especially when you’re staying in the uber-chic South Kensington. From strolling the perfectly manicured streets lined with trendy, white London flats, to shopping at Harrods, and strolls through Hyde Park, South Kensington is the place to be for a quick hop across the pond.

The Pelham London – Starhotels Collezione is in the heart of the South Kensington neighborhood and just steps away from fabulous museums, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Natural History Museum, and Science Museum. Our favorite convenience, however, is the proximity to Royal Albert Hall. Rumour has it Adele stops in more frequently than not, so you can catch us in the audience with our eyes peeled for our favorite songstress.

THE SLEEP:

With 52 rooms and suites, the Pelham has a little bit of everything, ranging from a Superior Room to the grand Mews Suite, which is a loft-style suite for four with a private street entrance on Cromwell Mews, a dining room, and lounge. All rooms come with complimentary WiFi, a Samsung Smart TV, and a pillow menu—yes, TRIBE, our very favorite type of menu.

TRY IT ON:

THE TASTE: Head to La Trattoria for authentic Italian cooking by the hands of Michelin-starred Chef, Alfredo Russo. At breakfast, he’ll serve you eggs any way you’d like and whip up some fresh pancakes. Did someone say tea? Of course – we are in London, after all. The Pelham offers Afternoon Tea with a glorious spread of homemade scones with cream and preserves, finger sandwiches, and pastries. If you travel like us, we recommend taking it to the next level and making a boozy and upgrade to the Champagne Afternoon Tea for an hour and thirty minutes of free-flowing Taittinger Champagne. Cheers!

THE WTF: Every now and then, we all need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. So why not do it in style? With The Pelham’s Classic Car Experience, guests are chauffeured to the charming English countryside in a dapper 1956 Rolls-Royce or Bentley. Get a taste of royalty with a drive to Windsor Castle or venture to Oxford for the day. Want to see London’s main attractions but limited on time? The Landmarks of London Tour is a private chauffeur experience that covers world-famous landmarks in central London, such as the Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and The Shard all within three hours. Your chariot awaits!
