Save your skin and waistline by dining at the Adamus restaurant and lounge for refined contemporary American cuisine – that is NOT cooked on a roller.  The artfully crafted breakfast and dinner fare is both innovative and simple while the contemporary bar quenches our endless thirst for the finest of provisions. The vibe of this restaurant and lounge is as energetic as Chicago itself. The standout feature is something dwindling in most modern-day watering holes…a space that encourages socializing! Adamus incorporates communal tables designed to provoke captivating liaisons or mindless chit-chat. Who knows…maybe you’ll you’re your next ex-husband over aperitifs.

THE LOCALE: To experience Chicago like a local we have some dos and don’ts. When ordering a carbonated beverage, do not order “soda…” To Chicago locals, it’s “pop!” Another tip? Stay away from asking where the train is. Locals refer to it as the “El.” We know…it’s a lot to take in. Do get your hands on a Jibarito – a sandwich that substitutes bread for plantains with meats, cheese, lettuce, sometimes tomato – and definitely visit one of the largest fountains in the world, The Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park for a dazzling water show.  Don’t put ketchup on your hotdog (its forbidden) and do go shopping on the Magnificent Mile. Do visit The Ledge – the glass floor balconies hang 1,353 feet over Wacker Drive- located in one of the tallest buildings in the US, Willis Tower.
