THE VIBE:

There is one thing we can’t deny, and it is that Denver is having a serious moment. Surrounded by panoramic views of the picturesque Rocky Mountains and puffy jacketed skiers, this skiing hot spot is buzzing with seasoned snow professionals and couples on their first vacation together. Luckily, that stuffy log cabin lodge you’re probably picturing right now is not your only hotel option – better yet stay in a place totally different, The ART, a hotel.  The hotel is overflowing with modern art installations with 165 contemporary rooms perfect for our art-loving tribe.

THE SLEEP:

The rooms are divided into contemporary guestrooms and suites, each outfitted with unique prints, lithographs and a pop of color. The fabulous thing about this hotel (and there are many) is that the rooms are separated by view. The most extravagant of the rooms are undoubtedly the Mountain View guestrooms, purposely designed to compliment the colorful Denver sunset, and the Broadway guestrooms show off the city lights at night and the natural beauty of the cool mornings.

TRY IT ON:

THE TASTE:

Like an artist and their paintbrush, a chef has their… spoon? Well whatever the right utensil, The ART, a hotel has the ultimate dining-cocktail experience better known as FIRE, and trust us it is fire!! The FIRE Lounge is shaking up dynamic renditions of inspired classics paired with tasty bites. After you’ve had one too many and the headache sets in, head on down to FIRE’s Recovery brunch for some classic favorites to help you conquer the morning struggle. The dining experience at FIRE brings a fresh take to New American Cuisine and is completely inspired by the hotel’s modern art aesthetic.  Adding fuel to the fire is the FIRE rooftop terrace located on the fourth floor that gives guests a unique birds eye view of the exciting city. Snuggle up in front of a real fire with a tasty drink in hand as you take in the stunning views.

WTF:

Upon check-in, you are greeted by an everchanging 22,000 LED light installation created by Leo Villareal…how’s that to set the tone? Take in the lobby and venture to the Portico Gallery and marvel at pieces selected by curator, Dianne Vanderlip. But oh, it doesn’t stop there – head up to the Welcome Gallery for your personalized check-in while appreciating works by Ed Ruscha, Nancy Rubins, Deborah Butterfield and Kiki Smith. If that’s not enough ART wait until dinner at the FIRE restaurant to see the impressive glass vitrine. The ART, a hotel has created a luxury experience with elements of a modern museum for art lovers or simply lovers of all things exceptional.
