– Derek Klein, Co-Owner Casa Pueblo Boca Paila
Hotel Highlights: This luxe boutique hotel on beautiful Tulum beach marries old-world Colonial Caribbean charm with modern hacienda design. The new sister to Casa Pueblo Tulum, the property’s centerpiece is the Mexican style pool with statement red-and-white tiled floor handcrafted by local artisans. The punchy color theme continues – think buttercup yellow barstools and sage-green beach umbrellas – against the backdrop of natural materials, whitewashed walls, and breathtaking ocean views. The idyllic three-story, 14 room hotel is home to a 75 seat restaurant, beach club, and rooftop bar, so there’s really no need to leave the comfort of your striped lounger.
Eat + Drink: The rooftop bar offers sunset views of the mangroves. The restaurant, Casa Pueblo Tulum, located underneath a hand-thatched palapa opens to the hotel pool and beach club. The modern Meditteranean-esque cuisine is inspired by local flavors, traditions, and abundant in fresh-caught seafood. Try the Fish Peruvian Ceviche or A la Talla Whole Fish, washed down with an Apapacho cocktail of Mezcal, lemon, and red wine reduction.
Beauty + Wellness: The hotel plans to introduce an aerial yoga retreat in partnership with Bamboo Yoga.
Curated Experience: Tulum is known for its stunning cenotes, and having some of the best-preserved ancient Mayan ruins in Mexico. Book the Tulum Ruins and Jungle Adventure Park Combo Tour through Get Your Guide.
