Hotel Highlights: Located just two blocks from New Orleans famed French Quarter, International House Hotel is the ideal location to soak up every inch of the city’s vibrant music scene, rich history, spicy cuisine, and eclectic melting pot of French, African and American cultures. The luxe, artsy hotel in a restored Beaux-Arts-Style building has 117-room guest rooms and deluxe suites kitted out with designer décor crystal chandeliers, private terraces with breathtaking views and a Banksy mural in the lobby that was transported from the building across town where it was originally created. And in line with the Southern summer tradition of keeping guests cool, the hotel switches out their plush rugs for cool sisal and red velvet upholstery for white linen.

Eat + Drink: A highlight of the hotel, Loa is a chic, candlelit cocktail bar named after the divine spirits in the Vodou faith tradition. Led by nationally recognized mixologist and “Spirit Handler” Alan Walter, the apothecary-like handcrafted cocktail menu uses unique ingredients like honeycomb, herbs, and native flora to infuse the syrups, tinctures, and aromatic bitters he makes on-site.

Curated Experience: Get into the romantic spirit with a 1-Hour Carriage ride through the French Quarter. Or immerse yourself in New Orleans spicy signature cuisine with a Cajun & Creole Cooking Class. And it goes without saying, you can’t leave without experiencing the iconic jazz scene with a Jazz Cruise on the Steamboat Natchez which journeys down the Mississippi River.
