Why it’s worth traveling for…

Located where reef meets rainforest, Itz’ana Resort and Residences offers a luxurious base to discover Belize. With the Caribbean Sea on one side and turquoise lagoon on the other, this 20-acre beach resort was conceived by New York interior designer Samuel Amoia, and Boston-based architect Roberto de Oliveira Castro. The hotel pays homage to its tropical setting with an evocative color palette, locally sourced materials, and hand painted murals by artist George Venson, founder of wallpaper company Voutsa.
