The best time to visit is May during Las Fiestas de San Isidro when there are daily bullfights along with flamenco dancing, open-air concerts, and fireworks. A typical bullfight features a paseíllo (parade), three toreros (bullfighters) dressed in traditional traje de luces (called “suit of lights” because of the sequins and gold). The entire event lasts around two hours and no, it is not for the faint of heart.
