Why it’s worth traveling for…

Do you crave five-star luxury and an epicurean cuisine? Are you a connoisseur for the good life, privacy, and a tropical climate paired with crystal clear waters? Well, I think we may have solved all of your vacation fantasies. Solely a hop, skip and jump away from the United States, or even a direct flight from the UK, there are many reasons that out of dozens of hotels on the intimate island, Blue Waters Resort & Spa was the award winner of the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, ‘Best Hotel in Antigua’ via the World Travel Awards. As if that was not enough, in 2016, it was also voted by the Conde Nast Traveler Reader Awards as ‘Top 30 in the Caribbean!’

A family-owned and run operation, Blue Waters Resort & Spa has become a destination for celebrities and the rich and famous, setting a new bar for the all-inclusive world. First things first, we encourage you to throw your preconceived notions about the standard all-inclusive out of the door and think state-of-the-art. Because from the moment you arrive, that is all you get. Sprawled throughout there are multiple bars and certainly no shortage of delicious dining destinations with purely refined cuisine options that will satisfy every palate. One thing for sure: you will never go hungry.

An amalgam of casual and elegance, we urge you to dress comfortably and light. Remember, it is the Caribbean after all. Prepare to spend much time on the private beach under an umbrella, lounging by the infinity pool (there is also an adult-only pool), or in the private pool that comes with each villa. If that does not suffice, why not get some shade or have a private dining experience under a gazebo with views of paradise after your glorious massage in their lovely spa? If sipping on cocktails is the name of your game, chill out by Carolyn’s Bar or Pelican Bar in the open-air lobby area, a true paradise. And, in case you were concerned, you can stay healthy should you desire. There are exercise classes offered each day or hit the gym where you can take advantage of the treadmill, weights or Stairmaster. Blue Waters Resort & Spa also offers a selection of non-motorized sports on the beach!

Truth be told, there is something for everybody. Whether you are planning your next family trip (kid’s activities and daycare are available too), honeymoon, or if you have yet to find a venue to host your matrimony, Blue Waters Resort & Spa is simply perfect!

Why you will never want to leave…

Each member of the staff is pure excellence, catering to your every need. Cravings? Blue Waters Resort & Spa has you covered. Whether you’re looking for local fresh-caught seafood, Asian delicacies or American fare – the Cove Restaurant or Bartley’s Restaurant is sure to have what you desire. Each option will satiate your needs – from freshness to quality and even aesthetic. And, every day there is a massive breakfast buffet available where you will dine whilst staring at the sea and rows of beautiful sailboats that belong to the resort. A property where you never hear the word ‘no,’ Blue Waters Resort & Spa is the perfect destination to relax, rewind, and press that reset button!

Choose from a massive villa on a peninsula perfect for any special occasion, a large-scale room ideal for families who need the extra space of interconnecting rooms, or more intimate options available just for two. The brand-new remodeled living quarters, no matter which option you choose, are comfortable yet intimate. With hues of blues and shades of greens that parallel the tropical seas, it’s easy to want to stay indoors, but we urge you to open your blinds and let the Caribbean sunshine in. If you are not in the mood to leave your room – that is fine, too! You will not miss a meal because room service is available as is your fully stocked minibar!

But if you do…

You can’t go wrong with renting the elegant Axopar 24, a sleek motorboat owned by Blue Waters Resort & Spa. Although this excursion is not included in your stay, we highly recommended spending extra to experience this journey where you will cruise along the coast of Antigua before docking at Sheer Rocks for a delicious lunch. For a truly chic experience, we highly suggest pre-arranging a day bed followed by a scenic meal paired with delicious craft cocktails and a healthy dose of European flair. On your way back to the resort, be sure to take in the impressive mansions and mega yachts of fashion designers like Tory Burch and Mr. Armani, himself.
