Both a fiction and non-fiction writer, Cristina Slattery has had an impressive career. Her non-fiction writing, which spans travel, fashion, film, and food, has graced the pages of publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes Travel Guide, Harvardwood Highlights, Roads & Kingdoms, Food and Wine, and Travel & Leisure. Cristina has a B.A. with honors in Social Studies from Harvard University, an M.A. in English from the Bread Loaf School of English (Middlebury College), and an M.S.T. in English from Fordham University Graduate School of Education. In her varied career, she has held positions in corporate and educational spheres, working as an English teacher and writing teacher in both the U.S. and abroad. Currently residing in the New York area, Cristina hopes her first novel - a fantasy novel for kids 10-12 - will be published very soon.
