Kathryn Romeyn

Kathryn Romeyn is a Bali-based journalist and devoted explorer of culture, nature and design, particularly across Asia and Africa. A journalist for nearly two decades, Kathryn has traveled on six continents and in more than 60 countries, producing more than 1,000 articles and many more thousands of photographs with her trusty Canon DSLR along the away. Before making Bali her home in 2022, Kathryn spent eight years in Los Angeles, holding various editor roles at luxury and lifestyle magazines. In 2014, she transitioned into a freelance career, contributing her expertise to publications such as Travel + Leisure, AFAR, Architectural Digest, The Hollywood Reporter, OLTRE, Dwell, Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, and The Points Guy. Kathryn also co-hosts a podcast called “Conscious Traveler."
