Sara Liss is a Miami-based food and travel writer. Fluent in English, Hebrew, and Farsi, Sara embarked on her journalism career in the Middle East, serving as a reporter for the Associated Press 'Jerusalem Bureau and contributing to Time Out Istanbul. In 2003, she made South Florida her home, and since then, has become a contributor to publications such as Condé Nast Traveler,The Miami Herald, Fodor's Travel, and MIAMI Modern Luxury. Her passion for Miami's vibrant food scene culminated in the release of her first cookbook, Miami Cooks, in the fall of 2020, featuring recipes from the city's top restaurants. She resides in Surfside near Miami Beach with her husband and three children.
