Hotel Highlights: Hotel Zena opened its doors late 2020 in the heart of Washington D.C. with a vision to celebrate the accomplishments of women. Throughout the contemporary arty hotel – inside there is a devoted gallery and the exterior falls feature bold murals painted by prominent street artist Miss Chelove – there are installations and spaces designed to ignite conversation and pay homage to icons like the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, whose image appears on the lobby wall. At the rooftop bar – where you can enjoy incredible views of the iconic D.C. skyline from a private cabana – the cocktails come inspired by trailblazing women like Amelia Earhart and Marie Curie,  while the lobby doubles as a coworking space where women can converse and network.

Eat + Drink: The Figleaf Bar & Lounge is the cultural and entertainment heart of the hotel and a space designed to inspire creativity and ignite conversation over cocktails art works, there is a wall covered in women centric protest pins. The cocktail menu features drinks named Empowermint and HBIC (head bitch in charge) and there’s delicious new-American small bites like mushroom toban-yaki and roasted cauliflower with tahini plates.

Curated Experience: The Hotel Zena is perfectly located for guests to explore the capital’s, many museums and landmark sites.  Take a Night Tour of the National Mall and check out the Air & Space and American History Museum via Get Your Guide.
