Aside from the pleasure of visiting and exploring a far-flung locale, nothing feels better than getting rewarded for it. And one thing is certain, when it comes to loyalty programs, IHG has no equal.

The company just launched a new, re-imagined program that will give travelers more ways to earn points — and the freedom to customize their rewards — when they stay at one of IHG’s 6,000 hotels in over 100 countries.

IHG One Rewards includes a new tier and bonus point earning structure that will allow members to earn free nights faster than before. The company has also enhanced its benefits to include perks like complimentary breakfast for Diamond Elite members and more opportunities for Elite members to receive early check-in, late checkout, and room upgrades.

A new way to claim rewards is also making its debut. Milestone Rewards will allow members to choose their own rewards after only 20 nights. Members will be offered a choice from a selection of rewards every ten nights through one hundred nights stayed. These Milestone Rewards choices include points, food and beverage credits, suite upgrades, and annual lounge membership. To make the process easier for travelers, IHG Hotels & Resorts will also roll out a new IHG One Rewards mobile app that will power the new loyalty program.

“We’re truly transforming guest experiences by giving our loyalty members more of what they want, more value, and exciting benefits individually delivered via new technology with our new mobile app,” said Claire Bennett, global chief customer officer of IHG Hotels & Resorts in a press release.” “Built on feedback from our guests, hotel teams and owners, IHG One Rewards has a fresh look and feel and puts guests in control of their journey. It recognizes that no two members are the same and celebrates it — allowing guests to travel, and mark milestones, their own way.” Last month, IHG partnered with Chase on a new credit card, IHG Rewards Premier Business Mastercard, geared towards small business owners to help them turn everyday expenses into travel rewards.
