THE VIBE:
Picture this: you’ve been having a rough few weeks at work and nothing seems to be going your way no matter how hard you try. You’ve been sick, working non-stop, not sleeping well, and your summer glow has now turned into a ghost-like complexion. Lucky for you, there’s a cure – Malibu Beach Inn.
We had the pleasure of visiting Malibu Beach Inn recently, and are still having withdrawals from the unbeatable ocean views, divine interiors, and that balmy Malibu air. Although we’ve been all around the world, there really is just something special about this place.
The second we stepped onto this insanely gorgeous property, we were greeted with the warmest welcome. No matter what kind of stressors we were leaving behind, all of our problems completely disappeared. I know, it sounds cliché, but I promise it’s true.
Located on an exclusive strip of Carbon Beach nicknamed “Billionaire’s Beach,” Malibu Beach Inn is just a five-minute walk from Malibu Farm, Nobu Malibu, and Little Beach House. Need we say more…?
THE SLEEP:
I know what you’re thinking…there’s no way a hotel can be this wonderful from every aspect – but it’s our duty to bring our Tribe to the absolute best of the best, and we stand by our sentiments.
Every single one of the 47 guestrooms have a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean, and the beds are covered in luxe Italian linen. Other perks include a private balcony, in-room fireplace for those cozy cooler nights, and Japanese toilet technology in the restrooms. These rooms literally have it all. Since the five different suite types range in size and amenities, the hardest decision you’ll have during your stay here will be choosing which room to stay in. Options include the King Pier View Room, the Queen Ocean Front Room, the King Premier Ocean Front Room (our personal favorite), the King Ocean Front Junior Suite, and the most spacious option, the One Bedroom Suite.
THE TASTE:
Being only minutes away from some of our absolute favorite restaurants, the location of the Malibu Beach Inn ensures that you’ll end each day with satisfied taste-buds and full stomachs. While you’re staying here, we recommend Malibu Farm for breakfast, Malibu Seafood for lunch, Nobu Malibu for dinner and Moonshadows for that kick a** view.
On property, Malibu Beach Inn has the fabulous (and super convenient) Carbon Beach Club Restaurant. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, CBC offers a great variety of fresh meals using only locally sourced ingredients. They have a pretty amazing cocktail selection too.
WTF:
A stone’s throw away from the Malibu Pier, ten miles from Santa Monica, and only twenty-five minutes from Beverly Hills and Downtown LA, Malibu Beach Inn could not be located in a more ideal spot. If you’re the adventurous type, we recommend taking advantage of that amazing California climate before heading back home by taking part in water sports, hikes (we checked out Solstice Canyon), or even going horseback riding.
I know, there’s an overwhelming number of things to do, but I promise you’ll find time for all of it. This place is IT. Take our word for it.
