One of our favorite photographers and Instagram jetsetters, Marianna Jamadi of @nomadic_habit, recently ventured to Palm Springs, California where she experienced the bold and beautiful The Saguaro Palm Springs.

We do love a hotel that doesn’t make us feel guilty about chilling poolside all day, all the while knowing there’s a buzz-worth nightlife scene down the road when the sun sets. It therefore comes as no surprise that The Saguaro Palm Springs is the preferred hangout of gallivanting celebrities visiting the area for Coachella. Set amid a picturesque desert, the rainbow-colored hotel seems more akin to Wes Anderson’s imagination than reality. Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat, the architects, drew inspiration from the broad array of indigenous desert flowers. With spacious rooms saturated with warm colors, hand-crafted Mexican furniture and organic bath products and linens, guests immediately feel as though they have stepped out of Palm Springs to an exotic island. There is something for everyone at The Saguaro, with everything from spa treatments and daily yoga, to poolside live music and movies offered to guests. Visiting the El Jefe restaurant is a must; treat yourself to some authentic Mexican street food and a fresh fruit margarita and be sure to check their list of over 100 tequilas to create the perfect refreshment.
