The Cornelia Spa, as Vanity Fair so aptly put it, is a “place to write home about” and offers a true respite from city life. Insulated from the city sounds, The Cornelia Spa is an oasis of silence and each treatment concludes with a Tahitian vanilla cupcake with rose making any trip a full sensory experience. The spa has an extensive menu of restorative and rejuvenating treatments including massages, compresses, and peels—all of which serve as the perfect complement to a long day of exploring the urban sprawl of New York City.
THE LOCALE
The Surrey is located in the tree-lined Upper East Side, surrounded by historic brownstone buildings and near some of NYC’s finest cultural institutions such as the met, the Guggenheim, and The Frick. The surrey also has an in-resident art specialist who is available to help guests experience all of New York’s finest art. After a day of museums, spend the evening in central park meandering through the paths. In summer, sheep’s meadow is the perfect place for a picnic with a bottle of bubbly.
