THE VIBE

Considered one of the world’s leading “global cities,” London remains an international capital blending culture, music, fashion, finance and trade. Belgravia is one of London’s most exclusive postcodes and is home to embassies and grand white stucco houses. COMO The Halkin promises an elegant and discreet environment for guests to revel in true luxury and seclusion.

THE LOOK

Founder Christina Ong prioritized opulence, privacy and safety when she designed COMO The Halkin, recalling on her frequent unaccompanied travels for London Fashion Week on behalf of her fashion enterprise, Club 21.  An added benefit to travelers, especially those traveling solo, are the uniquely designed hallways – all in black wood paneling with each guest room door blending in with their surroundings for a purposeful mysterious look and feel, ensuring a constant feeling of safety and serenity for solo visitors. The relaxed aesthetic of the light-filled spaces instills a calm, cool, and contemporary atmosphere to this original London boutique hotel.

THE SLEEP

COMO The Halkin has 41 rooms and suites that allow for both easy downtime and efficient work. All spaces boast a substantial, marble-decked bathroom for the quintessential self portrait. The brand’s Invigorate line featuring shampoo, condition and body lotion is available in rooms and suites. The signature blend uses eucalyptus and peppermint complemented by the softness of lavender and geranium.

THE TASTE

Ametsa is rooted in the traditions of ‘New Basque Cuisine,’ pairing the earthy flavors and techniques of Spain’s Basque region with surprising twists using locally-sourced ingredients. The result is a relaxed neighborhood dining experience for everyone to enjoy, lunch or dinner.

THE LOCALE

In the five-minute walk from Hyde Park Corner Underground Station to Halkin Street, the scene changes dramatically from buzzing city center to tranquil, residential bliss. Belgravia is flanked by the life of Knightsbridge, Mayfair’s Regency squares and St James’ parks. London’s best restaurants such as The Alfred Tennyson are within easy reach, as well as Bond and Sloane Street‘s glittering shops and Hyde Park’s greenery.

THE FEEL

COMO The Halkin offers a no-frills gym, personal training, yoga instruction and jogging access to Hyde Park. At Hyde Park, guests can play tennis, rent a paddleboat, and play putt putt on the lush landscape.

THE WOW

It’s hard to imagine that the sleek, contemporary COMO The Halkin was a car park when Christina Ong first laid eyes on it.  Everything except the Georgian façade was ravaged and replaced with premium Italian interior design.

THE SNAP

The plush bedding and sleek decor encapsulate sophistication on another level.
